Upcoming Big Band Public Performances

St. Joe Venetian Festival ─ July 17, 2008:  It's time to Swing into the Venetian Festival in St. Joe, Michigan, with the annual Big Band Dance at the Whitcomb.  The music of the Tom Milo Big Band starts at 8:00 P.M. Michigan time, but there are plenty of other things to see and taste before the band begins.  Events are centered around Ship Street in St. Joseph over-looking the beautiful Lake Michigan shoreline and the Harbor entrance.  Dancing at the Whitcomb is sponsored by the Whitcomb Retirement Center (thanks!!!), so there is no charge to come enjoy a summer evening of music and/or dancing.  For the guys, there's a fabulous Classic Car Show on Ship Street that starts around 5:00 P.M.

Poppin' in the Park ─ August 28, 2008:  Horizon Bank once again is sponsoring The Tom Milo Big Band appearance at Poppin' in the Park in La Porte at the Fox Park Band Shell.  This is August 28th, at 7:00 P.M. La Porte time.  Thanks, Tom Edwards and the folks at Horizon Bank!  Bring your comfy chairs, or there are park benches, and it's a beautiful spot for a late summer picnic.  It's a wonderful way to dance one more summer night before the Labor Day signal that summer has come to a close.

Share Foundation Dinner/Dance ─ November 7, 2008:  We're giving you plenty of advance notice for the Annual Share Foundation Dinner/Dance on November 7, 2008, at the Munster Performing Arts Center.  We have a long-standing tradition with this wonderful group who operate the Sharing Meadows Living Conclave for adults with special needs.  Ticket information and reservations can be obtained by phoning The Share Foundation at (219) 778-2585.
