St. Joe, MI
─ June 7, 2011:
St. Joe, MI – on the
Verandah of the Whitcomb Towers (same location
of our annual Venetian Festival appearance):
509 Ship Street. The dance is being held in
honor of the 100th anniversary of Whirlpool.
They are calling it Upton Week as the Upton
family founded the original company. We play
7-10 P.M. E.S.T. and the event is open and free
to the public.
Private Event
─ June 10, 2011:
Private event…but just wanted to say we’re
excited about future possibilities
with the
South Bend Country Club, which is under new
ownership.
Venetian Festival
─ July 15, 2011:
The Tom Milo Big Band will be back at The
Whitcomb for the St. Joe (Michigan) Venetian
Festival. The band plays on the verandah of the
Whitcomb Senior Living Center. Come have all
the fun, dancing, and music you want for the
exceptional low price of FREE! Hours for the
music are 8 – 11 P.M. (E.S.T.) but come early
for parking as well as enjoying all the ambiance
of the Bluff entertainment and vendors, as well
as activities as Silver Beach. If you have
children, you won’t want to miss the Silver
Beach Carousel! See you at the Venetian
Festival on Friday!
Fox Park Arts in the Park
─ September 1, 2011:
The band will
be playing in their traditional spot as the
closer for the Arts in the Park season at Fox
Park in La Porte. Looking out at the La Porte
Skyline and Clear Lake, it’s a lovely setting
for a picnic and an hour and a half concert to
close out a summer of fun. 7:00 Start time
(C.S.T.). Very casual and very FREE! Bring
your own chairs for comfort, although there are
benches.
Blueberry Festival
─ September 5, 2011:
WE’RE BACK!
The band will be playing at the Marshall County
Blueberry Festival in Plymouth, Indiana. A
great way to close off the Labor Day Week-end
with wonderful crafters, great eats, and what
else…your favorite Big Band! The band plays 2:30
– 5:30 P.M. (E.S.T.). We’re thrilled to be
back!
